Reflections: 2016

It makes sense to reflect on the past year. Much has happened and much I haven’t written about. But a quick overview is this:

I have resolved to become an author.

I have applied for a school, got accepted, and plan on moving to Idaho within a year.

I have come to sharpen my thinking on many things. Some which I may write about in the future. Issues like: Baptism, Cessationism, the gifts of the Holy Spirit and Eschatology.

I have learned more what it means to be a father and husband, and have thought more about my future than ever, and have thought how what is most important is my love for God being shown by my caring for my family.

I started listening to Podcasts like: CrossPolitic, Sheologians, and the Reformed Brotherhood.

I’ve been understand how important definitions are and how definitions can change everything.

And I’ve failed at tons of things, which I’m grateful for. I want to grow. Failure is a great way to grow.

And I’m in the process with my family in starting up a business. Definitely challenging, lots of planning, learning, and work. But I thank God for this opportunity.

It’s been a great year, and I pray this next year is even better in my being like Christ.
